Happy Vaisakhi and Khalsa Sajna Diwas!!!

Today, we join millions around the world and celebrating the birth of the Khalsa and the spirit of Chardi Kala ( eternal optimism). Vaisakhi is more than just a festival; it’s a celebration of justice, community and courage to stand for what is right.
To honour the special day, we are spotlighting the incredible Work) of our very own members!🎨 swipe through to see how our community is keeping the rich heritage of the Sikh faith alive through their craft.

Also, a huge thankyou to Bunnings & all the Artists that donated prizes.
It was a privelage to give these prizes to the winners.
And so grateful for the help of Craigieburn Scouts, in setting up & packing up of our Art Show. Was able to give $500 of the Special Effort Proceeds to them. Thanks Jeff & crew!

Our Collaborative Collage paintings. The members voted for a reference photo to paint from. I chose the 2 most popular & gave them an outline of a part of the image to paint. Most didn’t know what they were painting. - a Tree. & Medusa.
