I am one of the founding and honorary life members of Craigieburn Art Group. Since early childhood I have loved to sketch and paint. I have participated successfully in art exhibitions. I always strive to capture light, atmosphere and the essence of art subject in my work. Horses and animals became major features in my work. I work with Oils, Pastels, Acrylics and Watercolours.
I enjoy using black and white medium of pen and ink and creation of ‘fantasy/fiction’ drawings. I am one of the founding and honorary life members of the Craigieburn art Group. I had several very successful solo exhibitions.
I have always enjoyed art in many forms and for several years. I made porcelain dolls which I intricately painted and then dressed them. I participated in a few very successful art shows. I would like to believe my love of animals and birds come through in my paintings. I love to work with Pastels and Oils.
After retiring one thing on my wish list was learning to paint. Painting has provided me with an enjoyable, relaxing hobby which I wish I had taken up earlier. It has also given me a greater appreciation of the wonderful colours that nature surrounds us with.
I enjoy painting scenery, animals and flowers in oils and pastels. I have participated successfully in art exhibitions and won many awards at the Whittlesea Agricultural Show and Kilmore Art Show. I am a honorary life member of the Craigieburn Art Group.
I was interested in art as a small child. I had a successful solo exhibition in 1993 at Doncaster Art Gallery. I have recently delved into acrylic but prefer water colours. I have been painting in water colours for 28 years. I like the spontaneous aspect which allows for imagination.
I became interested in art when a friend introduced me to ceramic art few years ago. After visiting the Craigieburn art Show I became interested in oil painting. I started experimenting with acrylic and pastel to give life to my work. I enjoy working with colours.
I always had an interest in drawing from childhood. I have selected oils as my preferred medium because, if I stuff it up, I can cover it up and continue. I am exploring many directions in oil painting landscapes, seascapes, portraits and abstracts.

Studying art as a subject in school inspired me to experiment with different paint mediums and techniques to create my own style. I use multiple mediums in most of my paintings as I believe that it brings out a unique style. I love to paint animals, birds and my own imagination. My most preferred medium is Acrylics.
I was a primary school teacher for 40 years, upon retirement I began to learn the art of watercolour. I have been told that this is a very difficult medium to master, but I like a challenge. I love losing myself in the studio for hours painting.
Drawing and painting has always fascinated me. I use painting as an escape from my day to day stresses. I enjoy using Acrylic.
I am a self-taught Artist. I started painting as a hobby and completely captivated by the beauty of Nature. I am a Mum, a Nurse and a local Artist. Recently completing my Visual Arts Diploma at NMIT, had success in group exhibitions at Montsalvat, the Eltham Library and Louis Joel Art Gallery. I have also been a finalist in the Silk Cut Award, the Linden Arts Postcard Show.
30yrs ago Science and Art couldn’t be studied together, it was either one or the other. So it was science at 20, and Art at 40 at TAFE. I worked in the disability field as an instructor, specializing in arts and crafts, teach adults with disability. Currently a member of Craigieburn Art Group, I am developing my art skills. My many Australian Landscape paintings adorn in my hallway and are frequently admired by the traveller, who pass through.

Originally from Orange NSW and relocated to Victoria in 1985. I have always been interested in oil painting since I was a child, having grown up around fine artists such as Greg Turner, Tony Mason, Doug Sealy etc. I began painting in 1977, I am a self-taught painter with no formal lessons. My passion for recreating beautiful and harsh landscapes of Australia has been my drive force. I have had successful exhibitions and won best painting in country shows.
I am Ammer Esho. I was born in Iraq in 1973 and finished university in Iraq College of Fine Arts in 1999. I was a membership of an artists union in Iraq. I was an art teacher in Iraq until 2014 when I left Iraq to come to Australia, I used to perform my artwork in Iraq. So far I am joining exhibition art to show my artwork.
